In mi point of view, research is ask and question everything, is the desire or passion to find out why things happen, is the curiosity to know and learn about something, is to seek an answer to a question or problem that we are facing at that moment.
first of all, i think that research is a process by which a person has to develop a series of steps, for example: to collect data (information) , develop questions, hypothesis and during this process the people can discovers factors.
I think that research is discover things based in questions, I mean, when you want to know about something you start reseaching to know the answer. It could be a simple thing like research an adress or a sickness.
In my opinion, research is a process which requires opening doors. Researchers don't always find what they hope to inside the doors, however, every door that they look at and every step they take, guides them towards a knowledge. It is a dynamic process. It is like if you were looking for a treasure. You can find the treasure by trying different pathways. It is the same with research. You can get information by trying different choices.
Research is what we do to understand and learn things in a daily basis. When we research "for something" we follow some specific steps that lead us to the correct answer.
